The first 2 days of August are Make-A-Wish days on Kelleys. Aug 1st Golf Cart Poker Run. Aug 2nd is our long-distance Lake swim by Cindra Mielke, Caylin Mielke & Jeni Hammond. 32 yrs, 123.25 hours in the water & uncounted miles. This year’s children are:
“I wish to go snorkeling in Aulani Hawaii”
Arya, 8 – cancer
“I wish to go on a Royal Caribbean cruise”
Austin, 6 – leukemia
This year’s events start on Saturday, August 1st with our Golf Cart Poker Run. Registration takes place at 9am at THE ISLAND HOUSE. ($10 per hand, no limit on hands.) A breakfast bar and drinks will be available. Finishing at the KI WINERY & CANTINA for dealing of hands & raffles. Lots & lots of basket raffles! Bonus raffles to be announced soon. Sunday, August 2nd, Cindra Mielke, Caylin Mielke & Jeni Hammond will be starting off the West End Club side of Kelleys and swimming into the CASINO around noon. Come celebrate when we swim in & meet our Wish children past & present. Then a party at the KI Pavilion 12:30. The Village Pump, Caddy Shack & Toft’s Dairy have donated food & ice cream for your enjoyment. The Balloon Vibe will be there to amaze your children with balloon animals & more. Plus, a bonus visit, all the way from the north pole, Santa & Mrs. Claus.
