Kelleys Island Make-A-Wish 32nd Swim & Golf Cart Poker Run
After 32 years of writing articles for the Kelleys newspaper I would like to announce we made over $60,000 last year. 6 Wishes. One of our best years ever.
This year’s events start on Saturday, August 1 with our Golf Cart Poker Run. Registration takes place at 9am at the Island House. A breakfast bar & drinks will be available. Continuing Sunday, Aug 2nd with Cindra, Caylin & myself swimming into the Casino around noon. Our starting point will be off the West End Club on Kelleys.
At this moment, we have not learned who our Make-A-Wish children are for this year. We are excited to see who we will be swimming for.
“T” shirts will be available at our newest shop on Kelleys “The Bridge off the Island” (where Chicklets Closet used to be). Donation of $20. Cash or checks only (made out to Make-A-Wish).
