Kelleys Island Historical Associations FUN FUNdraising Events

Brush up on your Kelleys Island History for Sunday, September 6, 2026, Bingo & Bourbon Trivia event from 2-4pm, at the KI History Museum on The KIHA Museum Campus. Play Trivia Bingo, grab a bite to eat, and a chance to win our gift basket! Did I hear there will be a Bourbon Tasting bar!? This FUNdraising event as well as the now very popular Ferry Ride Raffle Ticket for a $500 Ferry Gift Card (it never expires), helps The KIHA support many ongoing projects, like continuing conservation efforts and new exhibit creations! The Ferry Ride Raffle Ticket may be purchased at the Museum Gift shop or at the Resale shop. Board members are selling the Raffle Tickets, and they will be available at Island events! The chance is based on the Ohio Evening Lottery Pick drawing on Monday August 3, 2026.

The cost is $10.00 per ticket. There are 2 numbers/chances per ticket and only 500 tickets will be sold. Our sponsor, Ray Schaefer Construction, thinks that this is a solidly built chance to win!

Other ways you can support the Kelleys Island Museum Association is to purchase your Quilt Raffle Tickets in the museum gift Shop. The beautiful quilt is hand made by long time KIHA Board member Teresa Betzenheimer Behrends. The tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Memorialize an event or a loved one by having a brick engraved and laid in the Memorial Walk on The KIHA Campus. Go to kelleysisalndhistorical.org to order your brick.

Of course, the best way to support any Island organization is to visit and then tell others what an interesting and fun experience you had there!

On Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10am-4pm there will be an Arts & Crafts Show on the grounds of The Museum Campus. Vendors will be selling their handmade items. You will see jewelry, woven and material goods, as well as some crafty Island themed gifts! Stop by to support these artists and to visit the Museum Campus.

The Museum Campus includes the Museum and gift shop, The German Reformed Church and the Parsonage House and Sis’s Cottage Resale Shops.

They are OPEN Thursday-Monday from 12-4. The Resale Shops accept donations during business hours or contact Sherry Eddy 740-680-7200, or Jodie Smith 419-350-1082. It is possible to make an appointment to come to your home to accept items, just give us a call to schedule.

Thank you for supporting YOUR Island’s History and the KIHA’s efforts to tell the story!
