Island Dogs is excited to announce The Happy Dogs Photo Contest, open for submissions beginning Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, through Sunday, August 9th. Winners will be announced on National Dog Day, August 26th.
The theme celebrates the Island Dog as a state of mind. We’re looking for authentic moments that capture dogs being fully, unapologetically themselves. No geographic ties to the Island are required. Just your dog, exactly as they are.
How to Enter
Submit your photo at islanddogs.net/contest. Photos must be high resolution, taken within the last two years, and unaltered — no filters and no AI. Professional or studio photos will not be accepted. One entry per household, please.
Prizes
Three winners will be selected by a panel of judges and public vote.
• 1st Prize: $200 Island Dogs gift card + a $100 donation to Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary made in the winner’s name
• 2nd Prize: $100 Island Dogs gift card
• 3rd Prize: $50 Island Dogs gift card
As a thank-you, every participant whose photo is accepted will receive a special discount code to the Island Dogs shop.
